About

The National Academy of Fine Arts is a non-profit, private, civil cultural institution. It is directed and administered by the board of full members, voluntarily and without remuneration, with the purpose of promoting, valuing and strengthening the fine arts in the areas of painting, drawing and sculpture, through contests, awards, exhibitions in Brazil and abroad. Also, make publications, lectures, courses, travels and exchanges, defend and submit proposals to bills that benefit the category. Funds for the maintenance of ANAP's activities and its cultural projects are obtained through the membership dues, the result of events and donations from legal entities and individuals.

With lifetime seat, they can vote and be voted. On a voluntary and unpaid basis, they are responsible for the institution's administration and the development of cultural projects. If there are vacancies, curricula of candidates of recognized merit, with more than 15 years of artistic activity, are evaluated by the board and this nominates the new effective member.

  2. Have more than 10 years of proven activity

  3. Pay annuity of R $ 220,00 (reais)

  4. Follow Board Decisions

  5. Support and participate in the activities of A.N.A.P.
